The difficulty of the words are decreasing…

I would like to dedicate this post to Stephen Butterly. Some of you may affectionately refer to him as “Butts”, “Scuts” and, less commonly, “I can’t believe it’s not Butterly”. The simple fact of the matter is that Butts is a quote machine. His dry humour combined with his often-exaggerated-by-others North Dublin accent make almost anything he says funny. Although there are a myriad of quotes I could post as an example of his greatness, I have to settle for this one, which occurred not two days ago:

It was a cold evening in the Burren Outdoor Education Centre. The maths teacher Brian Scully walked into the dorm to share cricket information with his younger and indefinitely handsome younger brother Conor. As there talk progressed, Jack Spain wandered over to join them. As there talk became more exuberent, a loud voice was heard from the bottom bunk. “Will yeh ever shurrup, no-one even liiiikes crickeeh”

And that is Stephen Butterly. Trip was amazing by the way.

efyizoll,

Conor
